HIIT & Tabata Timer for Watch
Circuit Training Fat Burn
Get it on the App Store Apple Watch · $0.99
Interval training falls apart the moment you have to look at a phone to find out whether you are working or resting.

What it does
- Custom work, rest, warm-up and cool-down intervals with a round count
- Haptic and audio cues on every transition, so you never look at the screen
- Live heart rate and calories during the session
- Fully standalone on the watch - no phone in the gym
Do I need my iPhone?
Not while you are using it. This is a standalone watchOS app: it runs on the Apple Watch on its own, with the phone switched off or left behind. You do need an iPhone once, to purchase and install it — that is an App Store rule rather than anything about this app.
Questions
- What is the difference between HIIT and Tabata?
- Tabata is one specific HIIT protocol: eight rounds of 20 seconds work and 10 seconds rest. HIIT is the general category, and this app times both.
- Do I need my iPhone with me?
- No. Start, train and finish on the watch alone.
- Does it record heart rate?
- It shows live heart rate and calories during the session.
- Can I save my own interval presets?
- You can configure work, rest, warm-up, cool-down and rounds to match the session you actually do.
You can also open HIIT & Tabata Timer for Watch directly on the App Store .
